Time flies indeed! I’m amazed that it has been 3 years already since I was studying at TiasNimbas in Utrecht. Memories of the sleepless nights that I spent preparing for upcoming classes, studying for exams, doing assignments and sometimes criss-crossing between home and the TiasNimbas building to Sleepless Nights Were Not in Vain The schedule was quite hectic and at times I wondered if I could pull it through to the end. Little did I realise then that this was strengthening my ability to work under pressure whilst also instilling a culture of hard work in me. Being a Senior Financial Analyst working for a banking regulatory authority requires a multitude of skills (both soft and hard) to effectively deliver on the job. I’m very thankful to TiasNimbas for imparting valuable skills and competencies to me. Our instructors at TiasNimbas always encouraged us to "think outside the box". Practicing this has been a rewarding experience for me both in my personal as well as professional career. I received a Governor’s overall award for outstanding performance for 2008, in recognition for excellent individual contribution toward the attainment of Bank of Namibia’s strategic objectives. This is definitely not the end, as I’m set to achieve greater things in my career. The TiasNimbas spirit shall prevail! meet my study group to do our assignments, not to mention the scourge of culture shock are still fresh in my mind.
